UPDATE: THE DEADLINE FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO SEPT 15, 2019
The Journal of Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology will publish a Special Issue of peer-reviewed manuscripts describing research presented at the 22nd Vitamin D Workshop.
All delegates who presented either a poster or a short talk are invited to submit an original manuscript based on their abstract. The manuscript should describe the research presented at the meeting and it will be subject to the standard peer-review practice of the Journal of Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Invited speakers are encouraged to submit a review article summarizing their presentation and/or an original research article on this topic.
The Journal of Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is devoted to new experimental and theoretical developments in areas related to steroids including vitamin D, lipids and metabolomics.
According to Clarivate Analytics, the 2018 impact factor for the Journal of Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is 4.095.
The deadline for initial submission of manuscripts is NOW SEPTEMBER 15, 2019.
Manuscripts will be peer-reviewed and decisions will be communicated directly to the authors. Revised manuscripts may be requested after peer review. However, to meet production times, authors will have a limited amount of time to submit a revision.

The Journal of Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology has published the Vitamin D Workshop proceedings since the 12th Workshop in Maastricht, Netherlands (2003).
