Sponsors and Exhibitors

The VDW is a 501c3 non-profit education organization that relies on corporate support for our annual conference.  Since 2014 we have been supported by a National Institutes of Health R13 Conference Grant. The 2020 joint conference is expected to attract 500+ researchers, offering extensive marketing opportunities and networking. Please visit our Sponsors and Exhibitors page for more information.

Location and Travel

The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre  (GCCEC) is the largest regional convention centre in Australia.  Conveniently located in the heart of Broadbeach, just 500 metres from pristine white sand beaches, with parking and light rail options for easy accessibility.  The Gold Coast Airport is just 20 minutes south of the GCCEC with regular flights from all capital cities and some Queensland regional centres.

We offer two types of competitive awards for junior scientists. Students and post-doctoral fellows may be eligible for the Trainee Travel Award. Early career researchers in their first independent position may be eligible for the Young Investigator award. Please note you are eligible for only one type of award.
